Boarding

Boarding that feels calmer, more personal, and more thoughtful.

For families who want a home-based alternative to large facilities, with support for routine stays as well as some urgent or higher-consideration situations.

The Experience

Why families choose boarding here

Our boarding model is designed for people who want a more intentional environment for their pets. The focus is on calm structure, communication, and care that feels individualized rather than generic.

Home-based care: A more personal alternative to high-volume, chaotic boarding environments.
Dogs and cats welcome: Boarding is available for both dogs and cats.
Routine medication support: Many routine medications can often be accommodated as part of regular boarding.
Thoughtful communication: Families should feel informed and cared for throughout the process.

New Clients

Getting started with standard boarding

Step 1: Intake review

New standard boarding clients usually begin with an intake review so we can understand your pet, your needs, and whether the stay looks like a good fit.

Step 2: Meet and greet when appropriate

For many new boarding families, a meet and greet is part of the process to create comfort and clarity before the stay begins.

Special Care Fees

Some boarding situations require additional support and may carry an added fee.

Routine medications can often be accommodated within standard boarding. When a pet needs a higher level of handling, supervision, or complexity, a special care fee may apply.

A special care fee may apply for

Aggression, extreme anxiety, injectable medications or shots, and medication schedules that require more than two pill administrations per day.

What that fee reflects

More hands-on support, closer supervision, more complex handling, or a higher-consideration stay than a typical routine boarding visit.

Urgent and Special Care Boarding

For situations other places may not be built to handle.

Urgent or special care boarding is for time-sensitive or higher-consideration situations, including failed boarding transfers, hospital transitions, mobility limitations, or behaviorally intense cases that need more review than a routine stay.

Urgent transfers

Including last-minute transfers from another boarding situation that is not working out.

Hospital transitions

May include support around transport to or from an animal hospital. This is not veterinary transport and does not include life support services in transit.

Complex temperaments or physical needs

Some dogs and cats with unique handling needs or mobility limitations may be accommodated on a case-by-case basis.

Acceptance is always based on safety, fit, staffing, and the specifics of the situation. Sharing more information upfront helps us guide you faster.
